Utica Communications Corporation

The Magnolia Electronics Inc. was founded by Edward Chubin in 1958. Based in Utica, Illinois, their first radio the “Town & Country” was produced from government surplus electronics. The company name was changed to Utica Communications Corp and moved to Chicago.

In early 1965 the company filed bankruptcy and was taken over only to close in December of 1966.
