Description

It was very crude with a steel front face which was lettered and pin-striped, and S-meter, Rack-handles, and a stainless steel cabinet with spot welded mobile brackets. The prototype had 5 channels, a volume control, S-meter 0, and spot switch. It also had a 22 channel tunable receiver. General kept this front panel design through the MC-6.
