Completely Bandswitching, 160-10M, 540 watts on phone and CW, on SSB with external exicter. Built-in VFO with illuminated dial. Pi-Network matches antennas 52-600 ohms. Completely TVI screened and by-passed. Provisions for SSB input and operation. Electronic Grid Block Keying with timed sequence. New audio compression circuit, using 6AL5 tube, holds modulation at high level with usual clipping distortion. New, easy-to-read, plastic meters. Separate power supply for modulator, allowing better overall voltage regulation.
